What’s next? Self-Driving cars? Quantum Computing? AI?

AI is the next most exciting innovation in technology.

Artificial intelligence is one of the cutting edge technologies in today’s market. In order for businesses to stay up to mark, it is crucial for them to train their employees on the use of AI. Cortical neuromorphic neural networks are the “holy grail of artificial intelligence”. In comparison to current neural networks, which require large sets of data and are expensive, Cortical neuromorphic networks need fewer examples to learn from and are cost effective. Thus, implementing this new tool will produce efficient businesses.

As I read through the Forbes article on “The Future of Artificial Intelligence”, I pondered upon what Artificial general intelligence is and how it is related to Cortical neuromorphic networks. Furthermore, I am curious to know what a normal neural network looks like in comparison to a Cortical neuromorphic network.

As I initially came across AI, I was not completely sure of the impact AI, machine learning, and neural networks could really create. Another challenge was finding credible articles. I can overcome these challenges by spending more time looking through as many articles available and equipping myself with a wealth of knowledge about AI.

This week I got my feet wet reading about AI. I am eager to keep learning and gain knowledge about AI’s practical applications in our everyday lives.

My goals for next week are to read more about AI’s applications in fintech, healthcare, or any other industry.

Being new to ISM, I want to focus more time on getting various perspectives of AI’s implications in society, how it advances businesses, and generates growth in an ethical manner. Taking ISM gives me the opportunity to dedicate time to researching more about an area of interest I would have never gotten the time to otherwise.

After reading through my first article, I realized that I want to learn more about how data is collected, what is done with data, how data is stored, and the role of AI in creating impactful insights from the data.
